Up close with Sanjana Sanghi

Headline: Up close with Sanjana Sanghi

The Delhi-based epitome of beauty, Sanjana Sanghi, is everything you may aspire to be. She chose to pursue journalism, though destiny brought her to Bollywood.
She made her debut at the age of 14, in Imtiaz Ali’s
Rockstar. In Dil Bechara, the Bollywood remake of John Green’s The Fault In Our Stars, starring the late Sushant Singh Rajput as Manny and herself as Kizie, she proves her mettle in the beautiful and heartbreaking role. Other than these memorable performances, she has been spotted in Hindi Medium, Fukrey Returns and advertisements of Myntra, Aircel, Coca-Cola, Cadbury, Dabur, Tanishq, and of course, as a Wedding Asia muse.
Excerpts from an exclusive, fun chit-chat with her:

 Bio

Date of birth: 02/09/1996

Rapid Fire

Favourite book: The Fault in Our Stars

Favourite movie: Dil Chahta Hai

Favourite star: Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone

First three words you get when you think of Indian Weddings: Blur, blur, blur/Made In Heaven

Favourite Indian couturist: Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s work is a manifestation of some real emotions. Currently digging the Neo Bohemian/Bohemian looks he’s been curating

Favourite jewellery: Minimalist, with a dust of tradition

Wedding destination: A wedding would be very personal to me, so it would have to be at a home setting, in my home country, with the culture, traditions and emotions I know best

Go-to fashion assembles: Street style inspired by the bylanes of Bandra

What kind of bride would you be?: Happy, confident and in love

Everyday makeup essential: A rigorous skincare routine followed by a lip colour always comes handy

Three things in a bridesmaid: A lifelong sisterhood, an acceptable wedding toast and an ability to capture moments the wedding photographer may miss

Comfort clothes: Summer dresses. There’s never a day when they don’t work

Date wear: Something I’ll already be wearing. Dressing for myself > A date.

One thing you should not do before going to bed: Starting a new book or a film before an early morning/miss skincare routine

A big no-no in a relationship: Dishonesty, because who has the time for that, really?

Three must-haves in a partner: Ability to know you, grow with you and to be two different people than an entity
